1. About Us

Karoga provides freshly prepared food products including marinated meats, BBQ boxes, catering services, sauces, seasonings and related food and lifestyle products.

By placing an order with Karoga, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Product Information

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, photographs, portion sizes and pricing are accurate. However:

  • product appearance may vary slightly;
  • weights and portion counts are approximate;
  • packaging and presentation may differ from images shown.

All products are subject to availability.

3. Allergens

Our products may contain or come into contact with allergens including, but not limited to:

  • dairy
  • nuts
  • sesame
  • mustard
  • gluten
  • soy
  • sulphites

Customers are responsible for reviewing allergen information before ordering.

If you have severe allergies, please contact us before placing an order.

Karoga cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

4. Storage & Cooking Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • refrigerating products immediately upon delivery or collection;
  • ensuring products are cooked thoroughly and safely;
  • following any storage, freezing or cooking guidance provided.

Karoga shall not be liable for issues arising from improper storage, handling, reheating or cooking after delivery or collection.

5. Delivery & Collection

Delivery and collection times are estimates only and may occasionally vary due to circumstances outside our control.

Risk in the products passes to the customer upon delivery or collection.

Customers must ensure someone is available to receive chilled or frozen products where applicable.

Karoga shall not be liable for spoilage caused by failed delivery attempts or unattended deliveries.

6. Refunds & Returns

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns or cancellations once orders have been prepared, dispatched, collected or delivered.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, unsafe for consumption or not as described, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographs and order details.

Where appropriate, Karoga may offer a replacement, store credit or refund.

7. Catering & Events

For catering or live event services:

  • booking dates are only secured once confirmed by Karoga;
  • deposits may be non-refundable;
  • final guest numbers may be required in advance;
  • Karoga reserves the right to make reasonable menu substitutions where necessary.

Karoga shall not be liable for delays or interruptions caused by venue restrictions, weather, equipment failure, force majeure events or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

8. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to the above:

  • Karoga’s total liability relating to any order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order;
  • Karoga shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or incidental losses including loss of profits, business or opportunity.

9. Intellectual Property

All branding, logos, photography, website content, recipes, graphics and marketing materials remain the property of Karoga and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

10. Promotional Offers & Loyalty Rewards

Karoga may offer promotional discounts, gifts, loyalty rewards or referral schemes from time to time.

Karoga reserves the right to amend, withdraw or refuse promotions where misuse, abuse or suspected fraudulent activity is identified.

11. Website & Online Orders

We reserve the right to:

  • refuse or cancel orders;
  • limit quantities purchased;
  • correct pricing errors;
  • suspend or withdraw products without notice.

Orders are only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

12. Temperature Disclaimer

Karoga products are supplied chilled or frozen where applicable and must be refrigerated or frozen immediately upon delivery or collection.

Customers are responsible for ensuring products are stored at safe temperatures at all times.

Karoga shall not be liable for any deterioration in quality, spoilage or safety resulting from products being left unattended, improperly stored, exposed to heat, or not refrigerated promptly after delivery or collection.

13. Shelf Life Disclaimer

All products should be consumed by the stated use-by or best-before dates provided on the packaging.

Once opened, products should be consumed promptly and handled in accordance with food safety guidance.

Freezing may affect texture or quality of certain products.

Karoga accepts no liability for products consumed outside of stated shelf life guidance.

14. User-Generated Content & Social Media

By tagging Karoga, submitting photographs, videos, reviews or other content featuring our products or services on social media, you grant Karoga a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to repost, share, reproduce and use such content for marketing and promotional purposes.

If you wish for content featuring you or your materials to be removed from our channels, please contact us and we will act reasonably to accommodate your request.

Customers confirm they have the right to share any content submitted or tagged to Karoga.

15. Privacy

Customer information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection laws.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
